Parental Contributions for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
Jamia Al-Hudaa operates as a charitable educational institution, funded primarily through donations and contributions managed by a registered charity. To bridge the annual financial shortfall between operational costs and income, parental contributions are essential. These contributions are structured equitably, reflecting household income levels to ensure accessibility while maintaining educational quality.

Key Principles:
Cost per Student: The estimated annual cost per student for 2023–24 is £6,500–£7,500, covering tuition, accommodation, and resources.
Subsidization Policy: Families unable to meet Category A contributions (full-cost approximation) receive subsidies from charity funds, including Zakah (Islamic obligatory alms). Parents must acknowledge that incomplete enrollment in the Aalima course (7-year program for ages 11+, 3-year for 16+) voids subsidies, requiring full payment.
Non-Refundable Contributions: Contributions are non-refundable, as they directly fund institutional operations. If a student withdraws mid-instalment, the full instalment amount becomes due.
Parental Contribution Categories
Contributions are tiered based on total household income:
| Category | Income Threshold | Contribution Expectation |
|---|---|---|
| A | Above £30,000 | Approximates full cost (£6,500–£7,500 annually). |
| B | £20,001 – £30,000 | Sliding scale contribution (reduced rate). |
| C | Up to £20,000 | Minimum contribution, heavily subsidized. |
Notes:
Annual Review: Contributions are reassessed yearly by management, accounting for income changes, inflation, or operational cost adjustments.
Advocacy for Donations: Families in Categories B/C are encouraged to seek external donations to support the institution.
Bank transfers are the preferred method, ensuring that the full amount directly supports Jamia Al-Hudaa.
